My father, grandfather and great grand father were electricians, and so naturally I joined the union. My life was secure and comfortable, but I knew there was more, a way I could work closer with nature and produce less waste. After reading about it for years I ventured into the world of permaculture and off-grid living at the Bullock's homestead on Orcas Island. Little did I know, this decision would ignite a passion within me and open doors to newfound creativity, as well as bring me home.
I have always liked to fix and tinker, to explore what is around me that I can use to create what I need. Starting with cardboard many years ago, with just cardboard and glue I created furniture strong enough to stand on, the transformation of materials has always interested me. When I started working with metal it opened up so much potential, for a Blacksmith has the power to use something as strong as metal make it molten hot and shape it like clay, I could build anything I dreamed of, I had to learn more.

Meeting Zackaraya Leck marked a turning point in my life. As I immersed myself in learning and assisting with various projects, I discovered a profound interest in metalworking.
Drawing upon my 17 years of experience as an electrician in diverse settings, I found myself well-equipped to navigate the challenges of a blacksmith shop, albeit with a newfound appreciation for the heat.
My greatest joy is crafting functional pieces that marry form and function seamlessly. Among my creations, the sturdy yet elegant shovels hold a special place in my heart, and I eagerly anticipate refining them further with access to advanced tools and technologies.
In addition to utilitarian items, I find delight in crafting decorative pieces such as dried flower vases. Not only do they exude beauty, but their thoughtful design prevents tipping, making them ideal vessels for dried bouquets.
Beyond functional pieces, I revel in the creative process of crafting jewelry, plant hangers, fire pokers, and other eclectic items. Each piece is imbued with a sense of craftsmanship and a touch of my unique vision.
